My experience on Regency Gardens was not good. I had my mother there for couple of months and the care and treatment for her wasn't the appropriated for her condition . She had Alzheimer and other health conditions, so because of her situation she wasn't able to speak, express pain or discomfort. If we weren't there for her she will be gone long time ago. Only a few nurses and aids were nice to us; but I can't said the same for the rest of the team. My mother is no longer with us, she struggle a lot the last couple of months, she didn't get the best treatment and care at the facility. I'm very disappointed of the way my mother was treated at the nursing home.

Regency Gardens in Wayne is a wonderful facility. Everyone greats you with pleasant smiles! My family member was there for 5 weeks, the physician took care of every concern we the family had and those we did not know existed, the nursing staff helped relieve concerns we had and took care of all medical issue, and THE REHAB DEPT was outstanding, building her strength and abilities to best take care of herself! It is a place you know your family members will be well taken care of! RL

I just visited and truly a 5 STAR facility. They provided excellent rehab and post-acute care and I am back on my feet and am so grateful to the professionalism and warmth of each employee. The administrator, Mark, and Admissions, Shoshana, tended to me as if I was a member of their family. May they be blessed.

it sounds like a lovely facility but it does not advertise the types of insurance that it accepts.

I would like to share my story with others that find looking to place someone they love and care for in a nursing home. I worked in a nursing home for over ten years and when I needed to place my dad in a long term care facility my first thought was to place him in the one I had worked in, after all I knew most of the staff and felt he would be more than safe in their hands. But then I thought why not check out at least one more something to compare it to. I'm very glad that I did I went to Regency, took the tour and was very impressed. I saw they had a different approach than what I have assumed was the norm. First of all the staff was so nice and friendly, the building was beautiful and well kept and the rooms have a very home like atmosphere. My dad has been there for about 1 year now. I visit about 3 times a week, he seems happy and content. He is kept busy daily with the recreation Dept. which also arranges to have entertainers come in and perform almost daily. I'm happy for him

My dad was well into alzheimer disease and my mom could no longer take care of him at home. It had become a tough reality that I was going to have to help my mom find a nursing home to take care of him. I would ask friends if they knew of a place or had heard of a nursing home that was good. Continually, I would hear about "Regency" for their quality of care and dedication to their residents and patients. Mom and I decided to take a tour and had the most pleasant experience with an admission director who not only showed us around the campus but was able to explain all aspects of insurance reimbursement, including Medicare and Medicaid. Being so impressed by the level of professionalism exhibited by the nurses, aides, and therapists we knew without a doubt this was the place for dad. Now, my mom, myself and my family finally have a level of comfort knowing that my dad is being well cared for in a beautiful and safe environment that he can call home. Thank you "Regency"!

Forget anything and everything you have ever heard about nursing homes. The care at Regency is a cut above all other options out there, it is more of a "home" than a "nursing home". My grandmother is getting treated with with white glove service, and she has not been this happy in years! My mom was so nervous sending her mother to a nursing home, and now she literally regrets waiting so long! My grandmother gets her nails manicured, gets her hair done by a beautician and eats in a (in house) restaurant twice a day! I wish someone would take care of me that well! I am not even sure my grandmother realizes she is living in a nursing facility. If it wasn't for the fact that she is physically doing better than ever due to the wonderful nursing care, my family would forget it as well! I definitely recommend this facility for anyone in the market.

My mother went to Regency Jewish Heritage in Somerset to recover from a broken hip and receive physical therapy. The staff treated my mother like a queen. The care is absolutely wonderful! We spent every day with with Mom throughout the Jewish holidays. I am very grateful for the thoughtfulness of being invited to dine with Mom during Rosh Hashanna. To our surprise and delight we were served a very traditional and delicious kosher meal complete with apples and honey, This was really comfort food. The service provided at Regency is truly exceptional and I would recommend them to everyone.

The best decision I ever made!

My mother was very adamant after her hip broke that she stay at home but she needed 24 hr care and that proved to be impossible unless we hired round the clock attendants. The cost would have been 25 dollars per hour.$219,000 dollars per year! The worst part is we started to do it but then when the attendant didn't show, there was no one at the last minute and one of us would leave work or our families and we lived far away. We decided to visit as many nursing homes as possible vefore deciding. My eldest sister visited the Regency Park in Hazlet and I visted the one in Wayne, Regency Gardens. Between all of us, we visited 12 homes and when we sat down to compare notes, we each had the Regency facility at the top of our list. That's when we knew we made the right decision. Mom has since passed but she experienced her remaining years in elegance and with dignity. The staff treated her like a queen! I would encourage anyone to visit as many nursing homes as possible including a Regency
