FOOD POISONING! 4 days of HELL after eating their sushi. Ordered it at 5:45 pm telling them we would pick it up at 7:15. Brought order home and it was missing a roll, so spent 10 minutes with them on the phone discussing why they would not refund the money and they would only give a credit. The next day a sickness set in that was nonstop diarrhea, cramping, chills, nausea that lasted 4 days. The owner said we couldn't prove it and that I should have eaten the ginger! The health department rep knew the owner on a first name basis, kept changing his story, and sounded like they were old fishing buddies. So nothing was done. Might have been because they made it too soon and it sat out, might have been bad fish, but either way beware! This place is evil. Never so sick in my life, would not wish this on my worst enemy.

I can't understand why 2 people are saying it's expensive? I have been coming to Chang Garden since it opened and have never paid more then 6-7$ at lunch and 9-10$'s at dinner. Sure they have a few items on their menu for the 12-14$ range but those are all specialty items, most stuff is like 9-10 $'s. I am not trying to be rude to anyone who thinks 7-10$'s for a meal is pricey, but come on......that's like a couple dollars more then a meal at Mac Donalds... Heck, you pay more for that to eat at a buffet! Sure the buffet's are all you can eat, but buffets are just gross, i'm sorry. There's a reason why they are all you can eat, and it's not a reason that makes me want to eat at them...Anyways, I love Chang Garden and I am thankful for the wonderfully yummy food they have been serving me all year. Oh, and I wouldn't recommend them to my worste enemy either.. but only because I eat there all the time and wouldn't want to see them there! hehehe..

The service is outstanding. Everyone is genuinely helpful and respectful. It seems they actually care whether you are having a wonderful experience or not. Lately the sushi is quite good, made with care, and the portions are generous for the price. I highly recommend the Chinese food as well.

Good Food but i had better @ The Bamboo House in Plover

I ate here on a BUSY Saturday night, the bar and dining room were completely packed and yet I was promptly ackknoweleged and didn't wait more then 15-20 minutes for a table to open up. Ordered a drink at the bar while waiting, the bartender was extremely friendly and the wine/saki selection was very generouse and very reasonably priced. We were seated at a booth, and didn't have to wait long for a freindly server who seemed to know all 100 items on the sushi/chinese menu by heart, I couldn't believe how big their menu was. I was extremely pleased with her recommendation's of the crispy duck, pan fried noodles, and rainbow roll. A small town like Wausau is extremely lucky to have a place like Chang's that seemes to have eveything you'd expect in a exceptional oriental restaraunt. Best of all the prices were rediculousely affordable.. under 50$'s for 2 to dine including main course, sushi, appetizers, and drink's for two, with food to take home. UNBELIEVABLE dining, thankyou Chang's!!!
