great salsa and all the menu items tried to date are wonderful. Its very fast and inexpensive..The only negative is the flavor of the tortilla chips.

Service is vary fast - if you want an evening i would hold up order.

Very friendly place, delicious food! I love the Parilla Cancun, a fajita dinner for two with many different kinds of meat and seafood. Wonderful, warm owner and family. :) Chips and salsa are wonderful, too.

Very authentic, delicious food. We love the flautas/taquitos and rice & beans lunch special, but we've tried the enchiladas, tacos and a few other items as well, all freshly prepared and tasty. Hubby loves the red salsa that they bring out with the still warm chips. Be prepared though, the nachos are quite different from what you can get at Margaritas, lots of sour cream on them, they were the only disappointment that I had. If you are not sure what the dish is, ask them, they will go out of their way to help you. The beef tostadas are excellent as well, and filling, with beef, lettuce, sour cream, etc.. Hubby loves the carne asada dinner, and usually gets that each time he goes. Hector the owner loves to chat, and will come over to make sure everything is all right with your meal. The staff is also very attentive and pleasant, the food is cooked by mexicans as well, which explains why it is so authentic. Definitely worth a visit, you can't go wrong!

WoW!!! This place is GREAT!!! Finally a true Mexican find that reminds of our trips to Mexico!! The best margarita I've had in a long time and the carne asade and carnitas that we ordered were too good to be true! We'll be going out for mexican food here as often as we can!!

Cancun is a recent addition to the Waterville area, and we decided to try it out today. Inside the restaurant is nice and quaint with bright colors and mexican festiveness. The service is quite good, you are greeted upon your arrival and they are quite expeditious. Then there's the food... I grew up in Maine, so I've sampled quite a bit of the restaurants. I am currently in the Navy and have been for ten years or so, so I've travelled and eaten at a variety of places. Included in those places are southern US and Mexico. Before now I had yet to sample a good Mexican cuisine in the State of Maine. The typical Maine Mexican menu is limited and the food follows the menu. This is not the case with Cancun. The menu is quite diverse, offering items I had never heard of. The quality and flavor of the food was out of this world, even the Salsa and chips that were brought out before we had ordered were exceptional. I would reccomend this restaurant to anybody with an open mind and a good palette. If you do not like trying new things and stay safe with your orders you are definately missing out at this restaurant. There is something on the menu for everyone.

Highly recommend. Great Food. Great Service. Kid Friendly. Great Prices.I am from California and have so missed good Mexican food. The aptmosphere makes you feel like you're in Mexico. On top of that, the staff was so inviting and friendly. Our waiter was very attentive. Needless to say I would highly recommend. I am so happy to finally find a good Mexican restaurant with wonderful service and aptmosphere.
