      General Info
      Opened in 1941, the DC Armory is Washington, DC’s auditorium, arena, big top and ballroom and one of the most versatile venues in the mid-Atlantic region. Under its huge dome, visitors to this landmark showplace enjoy a year-round parade of events as wide-ranging and diverse as the people who come through its doors. Our suite of services is designed to accommodate events of all sizes and our commitment to superior service to clients and patrons is second to none. The Armory, commonly identified by its domed roof, is a 10,000-seat multipurpose arena with 70,000 square feet of drill floor space. ADA accessible ramps are located at the main entrance doors (off East Capitol Street SE).
