The staff at Ahead of the Pack is wonderful. You can most definitely tell all the individuals grooming the dogs genuinely care about doing a satisfying job. I am very pleased with the whole staff body except for Karen. Karen treats her employes horribly. Through my observations I have seen her criticizing all of the staff on the smallest of things. She treats her staff like absolute garbage. If I was an employer I would definitely scoop up all the hardworking employees there. They do not deserve to be treated the way they are there. The four stars is for the amazing staff, if this review was based on Karen's management and people skills I would have chosen zero stars. Next time you go in watch how she treats her employees; do you really want to give a person like her your money?

I have been going to Ahead Of the Pack for at least a year for my Westie and I have never had a bad experience there. In fact if anything my dogggy has made new doggy friends everytime she goes. The facility is very clean and I am a stickler about that.

My doggy gets bathed and a Westie cut that is spot on. I cannot say that about other groomers that have given my girl a completely different cut instead which kinda freaked me out because they confidently reported they knew " exactly" what a Westie cut was. Additionally Karen the owner is on site and warmly welcomes everyone both pet parent and furry friend.Highly recommend!

Karen is the best! Charlie can be difficult, but he is no problem forKaren the dog whisperer! I had been turned away from other groomers because of Charlie, but Charles and Karen are fast friends. It is a wonderful experience for me and my animals now!

Karen and her staff at Ahead of the Pack are wonderful. They have a true passion for animals, and when we drop off our dog we know we are leaving him in good hands. They always remember him and keep a card on file so they know what "style" of cut to give him each time. The salon feels like a little doggie spa. The environment is bright and cheery, and when the dogs are done being groomed they are allowed to play together in a separate area with toys, pillows, etc. The prices are comparable with what you would find at chain groomers. We would highly recommend Ahead of the Pack to anyone looking for a groomer for their dog.

Wonder groomer! Excellent work, compassionate people. Karen goes out of her way to accommodate everyone. She helps all my foster dogs look their best and that helps so much with their adoptions. I highly recommend this groomer to everyone!

Ahead of the Pack is the only place I would take my dog for grooming. Karen, the owner, is attentive, caring and always remembers that my dog has a sore back. She loves her job and it shows in the way she takes care of every one of her special clients. I would certainly recommend her to anyone who loves their dog and wants top notch grooming. Less expensive than the chain stores and a million times better haircuts!

They treat my pups like one of their own! I love the fact that my two pups are not caged, but put in little open pens to frolic with other pups. The atmosphere is friendly, quiet, no barking or whining dogs, smells so nice too! They take such good care of my little Misty and Jujubee that I won't take them anywhere else ever again!

I bring my one-year old male Pit, Kashis to Karen for all his grooming. We absolutley love the staff at Ahead of The Pack. They have no bias when it comes to breeds which is wonderful because our pup is such a big baby, and some places unfairly do not take pits. Everytime I say "You wana go have a bath?" to him he gets all excited - he loves it.



All included, in a very low price, is a bath, conditioning massage, pedicure (with a file, not clippers for a smoother nail), his ears cleaned with an all natural product made with cloves (just delicious!). When we pick him up he is super shiney, soft and happy. He smells rich and luxurious. He even gets a little hankercheif around his neck. It is a true day at the spa - He is always there for at least 1 1/2 to 2 hours. We also get him a treat from the Barkery before we leave. This is a Five Star Spa in my opinion. Try it once, your pup will be hooked!



I wish there was a spa for humans that offer so much for such a low price!

Karen is outstanding with our Silky Terrier, Bailey, she has had her since she was 8wks old and she is now a year. Bailey loves to go see "Auntie" Karen. It is always a pleasure to go there.

The owner Karen is wonderful with my dogs! Even though my dog nipped at her - she still treated him with love! Very clean and loving environment for animals.
