Macomb Bike & Fitness is an outstanding business focused on always doing their best to provide the information you, the customer, need to make well informed decisions about all equipment and other aspects of cycling. They are the only bike shop I have ever patronized that puts function over form, and provides helpful advice and alternatives which allow you to get the best "bang for your buck!" They will do everything they can to provide you with what you need, after listening attentively to your requirements, intended use, and any restrictions you might have (to include finances) - and they will do so without adding any of the unnecessary and usually costly "bells & whistles" you don't want or need.
It is a family owned and operated business, with the most knowledgeable salespersons and mechanics I have ever experienced. They are efficient in completing all work and extremely effective in getting the job done right the first time around.
I have been cycling for over eleven years in both the US and Europe, and can honestly say that this is the best, friendliest, most knowledgeable and thorough cycling shop I have worked with. These guys are awesome! Bought a new Trek from them a few years ago and keep going back for misc. items and am always pleased with the service and products they carry. Also took an old Schwinn in for a health inspection. They were honest about what needed to be updated and what still had some life left. Referred some friends who also purchased a bike and were very pleased.

These guys rock the house. I bought a bike for them (Trek) in 2007 and today its 07/05/2011 and they are still give me the 5 star treatment. The owner is kool. But I like Jim to work on my bike. The guy rules; very professional. I am very happy that I bought my bike from these guys. I almost went somewhere else. Every year I take my bike there to get check out (for free) and they don't do more then is needed and always treat me fair. I have been unemployed of 1.80 years and I am not sure they know that. This year Jim even cleaned my bike! Thanks Jim, you are the main reason I will keep coming back to Macomb. My next bike will be bought here. No doubt about it! Bill
