I completely disagree with the other comment, pixie is like the heaven of all preschools. Most parents who would make a review like that are the kind of parent who cannot accept the fact that their child needs something extra. Being a parent of 3 pixie graduates and one of them needing the extra I can honestly and truely write this review.

I would not recommend Pixie Nursery School to a parent looking for a place where your child will be nurtured and where each child's individual needs are considered. The current director of the school is not open to hearing parent concerns or suggestions. She is unorganized and lacks the social skills required to maintain a strong bond between home and school. Furthermore she lacks the experience and has little knowledge of the needs of preschool children as well as those with special needs. The classrooms are small and cluttered. The ratios are high and classes of 14 or more share an assistant. Not to mention the playground is small, the gate does not properly close which is a danger to the childen at play and not all the staff is certified to teach. After having my child attend Pixie 3 days a week for a year I decided that his educational, emotional and social needs would be best met at a preschool that is run by more experienced personal as well as teaching staff.A big dissapointment
