Great food. Good prices. When one compares eating at this place and a cafeteria, well, there is no comparison. This is a much better choice. Great selection.

Last night my Mother and I met with some family friends,

there were 7 adults in our party at the Golden Corral in Waco, TX. (Thank God there is only one !)I cannot begin to tell you how totally appalling our visit was. It is easy to see why customers have to pay before they eat because I doubt anyone would pay after. We expected the place would be crowded at 6 PM on a Friday, but there was

absolutely NO order to the bedlam and chaos.For some reason,

at the height of "rush hour" there was no at the steak section so I tried there.

First I had to wait for the server to get off his cell phone to be told that none

of the many steaks on the grill would be ready for at least 20 minutes !The majority of the patrons (and I use the term lightly) were rude and pushy, they reminded me of herds of animals who had been starved and were finally being allowed to eat. The restroom was nasty, let me repeat NASTY ! Waco is blessed to have so many fine places to eat, if we had not been so nauseated we would have gone to one.I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt this was the absolute WORSE "dining"

experience I have ever endured.The most despairing thought about this encounter is knowing that there are

people who work hard all week (or not) and look forward to having the opportunity of

getting to go to Golden Corral and "dine". To me it is just horrible that there are folks

who believe this is the highlight of their week !

Service is good. The food is also good but sometimes it is a little cold. Great food selections though.
