I was impressed with how quickly he accurately diagnosed the problem. He also made practical recommendations that I could begin to incorporate on my own. He moved to a new location recently. I'm excited to see the office next time.

Dr. Ballew did a bunion surgery on my left foot he did a fabulous job!! I have not had any problems with my foot and the scare is not even noticeable. Highly recommend Dr. Ballew.

A real life saver I had been to a lot of other doctors and no one could fix my feet. I was tired of trying to hold on to anything I could so I could walk I am a ranch hand so I do a lot of walking everday all day I get stepped on and run over by cows almost everyday not to mention operating equipment,repairing fences ,feeding and mechanicing. Dr. Ballew's first words to me weren't lets do surgery it was lets take a look and see what we can do. Dr. Ballew placed removable inserts in my shoes and its 90% better now. Plus the worlds greatest office staff, efficent,polite, and very well informed about their patients, they never miss a call back to check on my progress. He's a lucky Dr to have such a wonderful staff. P.S. I had never met Dr.Ballew or any of his staff before, I got his name off a list my insurance co. sent me . Be VERY careful before completing any procedures with Kyle Ballew !! In the early 90's, he performed a bunion surgery which left my foot and toe misshapen-ed and permanently imbalanced. The "Keller" method he used was outdated and inadvisable for anyone active. I have seen two Orthopedic specialists who were astounded at his 'botched' surgery, and shook their heads sadly at the results, my right foot. The correction of Ballew's surgery would be major surgery (bone graft) and time. PLEASE get a 2nd opinion for any proposal, and seek a professional! I thought that bunion surgery was pretty simple and easy-- but done improperly, it has permanent impairment.

Also, the laser-fungus treatment newly advertised is a money-maker for the provider, BUT, studies don't support sufficient results for the costs involved. The Orthopedic Foot Specialist I saw in San Antonio said that he doesn't offer the procedure because the success rate doesn't justify the cost. Check other sources B4 paying!
