It offers a range of geotechnical engineering, special inspection and environmental consulting services, and has offices in Nevada, California and Idaho. The firm s clients include various residential builders, universities, public agencies, developers and schools districts. GeoTek has more than 250 employees. It is also a member of the American Institute of Architects, American Public Works Association and Society of Marketing Professionals. The firm additionally performs laboratory tests oon concrete, hot-mix asphalt, soils and aggregates in accordance with recognized standard procedures. GeoTek s geotechnical engineering services include soil stabilization, ground improvement, pavement evaluations, liquefaction analyses and pressure monitoring. The firm also conducts fundraisers for charitable organizations, and maintains a presence in Vista, Calif.
