Opened in 1995, Parkview Elementary School serves more than 400 students in pre-kindergarten through grade three. It offers several subjects in its curriculum, including reading, writing, science, social studies, health awareness, spelling and math. Students also attend music, physical education, computer and art classes. In addition, the school conducts computer application classes. Parkview Elementary School s media center houses a variety of storybooks, quiz books, biographies, picture dictionaries, encyclopedias and puzzles. The media center also offers access to several child-friendly search engines. The school organizes parent-teacher conferences, family nights, and other celebrations and events. Located in Virginia, Minn., Parkview Elementary School is a part of Virginia Minnesota Public Schools.
