I LOVE this restaurant! It's been there for many years. The guys that run the place are wonderful, even though I often go there right before they close. Another reason I love this place is because it's open until 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday when everyone else is usually closed. I even went there one night and forgot to tell them to leave the pork out of my Happy Family (my favorite) and they remembered to leave it out anyway! I can't say they'll remember that for everyone, but like I said they're a good bunch of guys. I've always had good tasting food from this place, no matter how often I go there.

A few thoughts...First, Chen's lo Mein is incredible. Smokey flavor, well seasoned and have not had better Lo Mien in Va Beach. The rest of his fare is pretty average for the local competition in the Hilltop area. Aviod the white Meat Gen Tso's chicken as he uses very thin pieces of chicken that have ANY moisture banged out of them and it can eat like fried jerky. Wonton's, eggrolls and dumplings are all purchased and not made on site. Cost is a bit on the high side for a mostly take out business. He has talent as a chef and am not sure why he holds back.
