0I recently purchased a 2015 Mazda MX5 online and needed to have it inspected and I wanted them to perform a comprehensive inspection of the car as I didn't have the opportunity to inspect it prior to purchase (it came with a warrantee).
Everyone at Japanese Auto Masters were absolutely fantastic. Friendly, professional, The facility is a real pleasure to walk into/visit.
The inspected the vehicle and inspected it, called me and provided me with a complete rundown of EVERYTHING on the vehicle. From the brakes, seals, fluids, tyranny and even the paint. They comped me on the comprehensive inspection so, the visit cost me $20.00.
I'll continue to take both the MX5, as well as, my Toyota Avalon to Japanese Auto Masters.
They are a class act and an asset to their trade!

Love this place. Wish I'd of know about JAM 35 years ago when I purchased my first foreign vehicle. I live in Norfolk, so it's a bit of a drive to Holland Rd., but from the front to the back, the folks are kind and professional. Wouldn't take my vehicle anywhere else.
Exceptional customer service, providing very thorough overview of your car's condition and needs to include showing you and explaining in detail; provide quality repair work; trustworthy and fair in prices; very inviting and comfortable lounge making waiting for your vehicle an easy convenience with the added benefit of a courtesy hot beverage and a variety of reading material along with artwork bespeaking the company's values and integrity - readily available to respond to questions and ever so nicely express their appreciation for you as the customer.

As always, your service was prompt, courteous and efficient. I like knowing if a needed repair is immediate or if it can wait for a few days, and I trust your judgment totally. You're the best.

i.e., The brakes on my Tacoma started grinding which means they were very worn. Called Japanese Auto Masters and dropped my truck off overnight. They checked out the braking system called me and explained what work was needed, why, and cost. The Tacoma was ready the next day. I've been taking our cars to them for years. Reliable, honest and never a problem with the work done.A local favorite, or highly recommended because

I initially took my vehicle to Japanese Auto Masters strictly based on the reviews I read on their website. This is the first time I left my own review on a company... I am not only pleased with the quality of their work, but I'm also pleased with the quality of the people who work there. My air conditioner isn't working and I recently transferred to Portsmouth, I refuse to take my vehicle to anyone else. I will continue to drive in the heat with my windows down until I can get a day off to get to JAM. They definitely made a loyal customer out of me!!!

Great staff and great work. We have been bringing out Toyota's to Jap Auto for years and they always do superb work. Now they also work on domestic vehicles so they have all my family's repair jobs
These guys are the best there is I've been going to them since the mid-late 80s they are very honest and do a great job in fixing my vehicles I will always go to them for repairs & I'll always recommend them to any one who needs a vehicle repaired.
Great automotive shop friendly staff,the wait was never that long.Would go there for car repairs anyday.
