I'm born and raised in VB. I used to pass by this place when I was pre-k attending children's world. At 25, I've past this place so many times it had become background noise. I have a very wide foot and have always had trouble finding a comfortable fit. I've been getting by for 3 years wearing secondhand boots from a friend in the military. They were the only shoes I've ever owned that fit right. I had beaten them to the point that the tag had fallen out, several sets of insoles had been worn out, and the outsoles had cracked to the point that I could stick my finger inside my boot. I made several trips to well-known shoe stores, including redwing shoes, and many of your big box stores with no success in finding a good quality boot that fit. I was in the area and stopped by Acredale. I was helped immediately upon entering and she eyeballed my size. She got it close on the first try and perfect on the second. After she had me try about 3-4 pairs we had found the perfect pair for my work use. I was told to sit in a chair and remove my boots while she danced around pulling boots from the wall. I felt pampered, which is a very foreign feeling for a working man like me. I later looked up the priced for the boots I purchased. I found them on amazon prime for $10 more than I paid at Acredale. I'm sure some items are more expensive than you'd find elsewhere but it is an independent specialty store. Overall, I feel incredibly satisfied with the level of service and the value of the product. Sorry about the length of my review. It's my attempt to emphasize how impressed I was with this place. I will be returning

I left with new boots, a cute cowgirl hat, sparkly wranglers, and s smile and my face.
As soon as in walked in this store, I was welcomed by all the friendly staff at Acredale. All the employees were so helpful and waited on me hand and foot, they were very personable and made sure i got just what a came for. This little western store has the greatest selection of cowboy boots, hats, and western accessories. I could tell that Acredale was locally owned and operated by there quality service and knowledge about cowboy boots and the comfort fit. I wil defiantly return to support my local business.

My husband and I came into this store for the first time a few weeks ago. We are from out of town and this was the first western store we had seen in Virginia Beach (still is the only one worth mentioning). We left the store with my husband's first pair of Wrangler jeans and first pair of cowboy boots thanks to Wendy who helped us. I also bought a pair of new Ariat boots and we both can't keep them off our feet! Acredale Saddlery is like a piece of home away from home! I would highly recommend stopping in, even if you have NEVER worn a pair of cowboy boots. Who knows, maybe this will be your first!

Acredale Saddlery is by far my favorite store for boots, western wear and any other related accessories. I travel alot and have visited many other similar stores in other cities and even other states, but I must say that Acredale has one of the very best selections of virtually everything western. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly and they always help me pick out the something that looks great on me. I highly recommend Acredale Saddlery to all my friends and to anyone looking for boots or just great looking western wear in Virginia Beach or Southeast Virginia.

Nothing has changed in their customer service in over 20 yrs. STILL GREAT SERVICE. I went in two wks ago to get some more wranglers and they didn't have my size in stock. The gals there put two pairs on order for me and called like they said they would upon arrival. At the check out I was given a 10% Military discount (Tuesdays). Keep up the great service.
