Vinton High School has an enrollment of more than 250 students in grades 9 through 12. The school s core curriculum includes math, English, social studies, and science. It offers Title I, special education, and gifted and talented programs. Vinton High School also host sessions in accounting, environmental studies, physical education, and family and consumer science. In addition, the school provides a variety of sports activities, including football, volleyball, cheerleading, baseball, softball, and track and field. It offers guidance counseling and career planning services. Vinton High School s library houses a selection of books and reference materials. The school provides membership options for the Future Farmers of America (FFA) and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). It is governed by Calcasieu Parish Public Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
