Had a main water line bust between my water meter and my home. Having had this same problem before in a previous home, we decided the best thing to do was replace the entire supply line. Because once just putting in a patch only means that it will develop another leak in the not to distant future. I called every plumber in Hardin county ( probably 15 of them) . I only had 5 of them bother to return my call. My problem was 3 of them told me they will not work on a modular home. Now understand, my problem was outside in the main supply line, not inside. So, I ended up with only 2 estimates. I knew this was going to be an expensive repair and require digging up my front yard. Seams when they built my home they had used inferior materials. The original water line was rated at 150 psi. Only meant to last about 10 to 15 years. Guess I was lucky in that it actually had lasted me for 19 years. Melvin from 24 Hr. plumber suggested that we replace it with a better quality line and use 250 psi line. He told me that with this upgrade I should never have this problem again at least in my lifetime (I'm in my late 60's). It took Melvin and his crew from 24 Hr. plumber most of the day to complete the work. They left the work area clean and tidy. All that's left for me to do is sew some grass seed in the work area. They did good work, even though it was a costly repair, 24 Hr. plumber was still $500 cheaper than the other estimate I had gotten. Melvin & his crew were professional and courteous, and even replaced a kitchen faucet for me while they were here. I highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs.

Let me tell you about how refreshing it was to find a company who focuses on customer service and relations rather than profit margins.

On the week of Christmas I had my line from the house to the municipal sewer break and we were unable to use water because the water would not be able to drain from the house. I called three plumbers: 1) Plumb Rite 2) Knights Mechanical and 3) The 24HR Plumber.

One company quoted me $1200 for the repair and would not be out for a week. That's a long time for a family of 4 with two young kids.

The other company quoted $600 but wouldn't work in the rain which we had a lot of during this time. They also refused to come out unless I paid time and a half because of the Christmas weekend (even though Christmas was on Friday).

Then there is the 24HR Plumber. They came out on Saturday to look at the problem and by Monday the 24HR Plumber was on site and fixed my sewer line. It was drizzling, it was cold and it was a mess and the 24HR Plumber did it with a smile on their face; not to mention the final bill came out cheaper than the other two companies.

The plumbers Damon and Mark were fantastic and was a pleasure to work with. I --FINALLY-- found a plumber that I can trust not to screw me with outrageous charges.

Thank you guys - you're a life saver!

I can't say enough about 24 hr Plumber! My grandparents live in central Breckinridge County and they had a possible sewage leak. After over 3 months of calling Bennett Backhoe and Plumbing, explaining that each passing day could result in my elderly grandparents getting sick, and getting empty promises for a response, I called 24 hr Plumber. 24 hr Plumbing actually apologized because they couldn't make it out for two days! They set an appointment and showed up as promised, ON TIME! My grandparents said they were very professional, and I was shocked at how inexpensive the bill was. And recently, my mother's property experienced a significant underground pipe leak that turned her lawn into a swamp. After more empty promises of a response from Bennett's she asked for the number for 24 hr Plumbing. Again, they were professional and showed up on time when promised. Their crew worked all day in sweltering heat digging up her lawn and even made a special trip to pick up a concrete saw (at no charge) so they could access the leak beneath a slab. Ultimately, they gave great advise for fixing the issue and are scheduled to return to finish the job. Again, at a price far below what was expected, and far more inexpensive than what the other guys charge. They obviously take great pride in their work. Thanks 24 hr Plumber for taking such great care of my family!!!
