Things you must ask before enrolling your kids at VVTKD: 1. How much? Can you afford $6000 more or less per program? 2. Do you need to sign a contract? 3. Verbal contract okay with you? If not, make sure everything you heard and agreed upon are put in writing (highly recommended). 4. How many years before you can become a certified black belt? Will that cover the more or less $6000 that you paid for? Or will you pay an additional amount beyond your contract? 5. There are 9 standard color belt: white, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, brown, red and black. Each color belt either have 2 or more layers before you can be promoted to the next color belt. Is this okay with you? 6. Each belt testing cost $50 or more. Is this okay with you? 7. What are the credentials of the instructors? 8. Will you get what you paid for in terms of the quality of lessons being provided, instructors and facility? 9. This school has several uniforms unlike any other Taekwondo school. You are require

My kid have been with this school for years now. This school may be expensive compared to some. But what stood out and what I liked about this school was the customer satisfaction. Several months ago, I questioned about the ever changing of uniform policy. It was only later that I appreciate what it entailed when recently my child was promoted and was wearing the black uniform. I was told that it felt different. It felt like I accomplished something and stood out from the rest of the kids below me. I was surprised when I heard it. For that I am really happy and thank you Master Nam and stuff for making a difference.

Little crowded at times and they charge a little bit more than others, but you get what you paid for... I might not like 100% of what they do but I know that my son now have more confidence and discipline and also for the rest of his life because of them. I'll take that any day. Great program and great instructors!

Don't bother to write a negative comment on Yelp... they'll just be block by anyone from VVTKD! Don't believe me? See it for yourself. Reviews are biased if you only see positive reviews and not accurately represented. People should know you know...

Master Nam asked us to write a review about VVTKD on Google. But where is the link about this Google Review contest? Also, if he really sincerely appreciates us parents, why do we have to write a review to have a party for us? Oh well, I am just asking out loud.

Do you notice anyone? I've been around for long to notice that I don't see any business license posted on their wall that's visible to see (at least for me) except for big photos of instructors of which some are no longer teaching there. Also, why is Master James Nam rarely teaches classes? Just asking out loud. :)

Before I always thought that VVTKD was the best in the High Desert until I started checking other schools as well. You may want to check this out: The Mateo Academy of Self-Defense in Victorville CA. I visited this place recently and as soon as my child is done with black belt, Ill start moving them here. No contract, inexpensive, reasonable, better facilities, class not so crowded, parking is wide enough with better program. I didnt see all this at VVTKD.

I am just wondering if they are still a member of the World Tae Kwon Do Federation? Their graduation certificate looks cheap now. That's why I asked. Also, I just didn't like it when there were so many kids in one class. Another thing, VVTKD's Facebook page is spammed. I didn't like it when my mailbox is receiving stuff that aren't Tae Kwon Do related.

Great quality instruction and fun for kids. The staff are awesome! Recommend to anyone who wants to get their kids involved.

In reply to Instructor Rhee: Actually someone spoke to the business owner sometime ago and insisted that is your policies! Why do you require all of us to sign a contract before we can enroll our kids? You have the right to change your policies and we don't have the right to quit because of this CONTRACT! Is that fair? Talk the talk, walk the walk!

Expensive, shop around first, kept changing policies for them to make more money, so I suggest don't sign any contract with them if you choose this school.

We are proud to say that our kids have improved drastically due to this tkd academy. I'm a law enforcement dad and this academy does not teach kids to start fights but to avoid them. If the problem consist then they are also thought to deflect and defend them selfs. Great academy truly recommended.

Victorville Tai Kwon Do is great place for kids. Instruction is second to none. Staff is friendly and professional. Best instruction around

We were recommend to this school and been loving it ever since. I like the way they do things here. It's hard finding quality kids program in VV and I am thankful for finally finding something for my kids that is quality and fun at the same time.

Professional,courteous,and friendly. I would recommend Victorville taekwondo to anyone! Oh, and they have the only anti bully program that really works, I know because my son doesn't get bullied any more after the first month of taking their classes. Thanks guys.

Instructors are awesome, they have clean facility, office managers are awesome, other parents and students are friendly. I feel very comfortable here. My son has improved dramatically in his attitude and his grades, and especially attitude towards his mother which we have been having trouble with the most. We thought they were just saying it when they say they teach character but they actually do it. We were pleasantly surprised with the school in general.

I chose VV Tae Kwan Do as a way to spend time with my family. My goals at first were family time and better confidence for my children. Both were met in a short time. My children love coming to VVTKD, and as a bonus I have lost twenty pounds! The staff is absolutely great and they honestly care about the material we learn. I began at VV TKD 3 /12 years ago at the age of 44. Because of the excellent instruction and physical training I am 40 lbs lighter and have earned my black belt. My 15 year old daughter also trains with me. Victorville Tae Kwon Do has really helped to draw us closer together and has helped her to be more confident in school and other sports.
