- Dental CareS a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care for dogs, cats and small mammals.
- VaccinationFor the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, many pets may be a little uneasy around new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room.
- Behavioral CounselingOn this page, you will find valuable information about our hospital and services. - Nutritional CounselingThe advent of premium pet nutrition has contributed significantly to an increased life expectancy of our companion pets. At Middle River Veterinary Hospital, we advocate feeding premium diets as an essential aspect of maintaining excellent pet health. While it is a challenge for many people to eat a healthy diet, pet food companies have made it easy and convenient to feed our pets well. The combination of a healthy diet and proper exercise can keep our pets active and healthy well into their “golden years”.
- Comprehensive ExaminationBecause of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best...

So what are these parasites and how do they impact us?
- Pain ManagementAnything that causes pain in people can be expected to cause pain in animals. Pets may not show the same symptoms of pain as people do; some may whine or cry, but many pets suffer pain quietly. All pets receive pain medication while in the hospital, and most will have medication to take at home for a few days after surgery.
