What kind of business belittles their customers online following a complaint, and writes personal information about a customer's past due account online following an online customer complaint? Martin Septic that is who. The proof is in the pudding. Their market is a forced market and thus they do not fuction by the motto that the customer is king. Once your septic system starts to fail they will only place blame on the homeowner and will never acknowledge that the system is just a bad system, like the newer ATU septic systems they service. However, the Charlotte County Government and the Charlotte County Health Department have already admitted most of these newer systems are not good and have a 90% rate of failure. So as another saying goes ...laugh now cry later. They made a lot of money installing and servicing these bad systems but the money train will stop. All of Charlotte county is going sewer (and from what I have read so is North Port) so we will see who laughs last. They are a monolopy created by previous legislation that did not proceed with sewer expansion, this is how they have stayed in business and the reason for the cockiness in their responses. The good news is Charlotte County has waken up to reality and recently voted on a phased sewer expansion project. They may have to find another line of business, move to a place where there are more septic systems, or simply file for bankruptcy.

Had routine pumpout done today. Just wanted to recognize technician Michael, who was very courteous and knowledgeable during the visit. He called when he was on his way, and explained the process and how to keep maintained properly. Michael was very polite and a hard worker. We would recommend this company to others.

1) Don't go with Martin right away if they give you a quote -- check with other companies. 2) watch Martin people like a hawk, don't leave them alone. My wife left the service guy buy himself for 10' -- she came back and was told that XXXX was broken, and it would cost $1300 to replace. XXXX was perfectly fine before. We call and check with other companies, and was told that XXXX typically has a very long life unless mishandled.

they recommended a pump out when it was not needed then tried to talk to the manager about it and she was VERY rude and impolite

Did not do job asked of them just pumped tank while no one was home and left. Even though it was asked ahead of time that they cleared pipe to house as well and they said yes it was included.Then they where rude and laughed at me when I tried to get them to go back out and finish the job.

I noticed I'm not the first bad review on here. And I have much better things to do then give bad reviews but this is necessary so others can be aware.The work went smooth enough, however, dealing with the VP was beyond unprofessional. She finds it necessary to address clients with no respect or consideration to the point of name calling. She runs a make shift office which can't produce when needed on a professional level. I don't know how they stay in business. I will warn anyone to stay away, steer clear and call the other guys in town.

I disagree with whoever said they weren't professional. I am a Realtor here and when I need an emergency replacment of a septic system component COMPLETED within 1 week of contacting them they were prompt, professional, courteous, did the job right the first time and were right on the mark with the estimate.I highly recommend Martin Septic in Northport, FL. If you have a problem, they refuse to fix! Terrible customer service. Secretary is rude. Owner, Cindy, would rather talk over you and belittle you if you have a complaint. There are plenty of other septic companies out there...CALL SOMEONE ELSE!!!!
