Vancouver School of Arts and Academics is an educational institution that serves students in grades 6 through 12. The school is a part of the Vancouver School District, which serves more than 22,400 students through over 30 elementary, middle and high schools. It provides general academic, International Baccalaureate and advanced placement programs. Located in Vancouver, Wash., the school offers education in business law, calculus, video production, graphic design and Web publishing. It also conducts classes in design technology, photography, biology, psychology, cosmetology and zoology. Vancouver School of Arts and Academics offers memberships in the National Honor Society. The school operates fine arts, dance, drama and recording production clubs. It also has a parent-teacher-student association that supports academic and enrichment programs. In addition, Vancouver School of Arts and Academics provides a range of student support services that includes meals, guidance counseling, transportation and medical care.
