My wife and I drive 45 minutes each way to get to La Palma. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant. The staff is the friendliest around. And the food is worth the drive. We are regulars and love the place.

I called ahead for hours. Arrived 40-50 before closing and they turned us away. This is the second time this has happened. Guess they aren't here to serve our community.

Food is awsome.. Margaritas are the best.. And service is great. A complete restaurnt period. :)

We went to La Palma for the first time and found it to be the best Mexican restaurant in either Champaign or Clark counties. The atmosphere was great and the food was really good. The wait service was a little on the slow side, but it wasn't a big deal overall.

Avoid this place!!! The food is nasty, and the service is beyond bad.

I eat there every chance i get. They have the best Chicken nachos. The service is great and i enjoy the new look of the seats.

Tonight I ordered a plain bean burrito a la carte but was charged for a burrito supreme dinner meal for double the price of the item I ordered. When I disputed the charge, the owner refused to correct the problem saying "This is what you ordered". The owner of the restaurant and the servers were extremely rude and unfriendly and did not care when I told them I would not be back. In fact the server said to "not make threats." The food isn't great and the service is terrible. I absolutely would not recommend this restaurant. Thinking that this would be one of the finer places to dine in Urbana, I'm extremely disappointed.
