Sims Jr. High School, located in Union, S.C., is a public school that provides academic education and higher learning opportunities to students in grades seven and eight. The school enrolls more than 550 students and is a part of the Union County School District. The school s curriculum includes English, math, language arts, science and social studies. It emphasizes on vocabulary building, grammar, reading, writing and communication skills, and organizes logical games. Additionally, it offers courses in history, political science, geography and economics. Sims Jr. High School also provides technology education, accelerated reader programs and computer workstations.
