I bought my pup here and am very happy with him. He is now our third dog. He got a clean bill of health, is smart, well-behaved and beautiful. I found the store to be very clean, and the girls there were also very nice and helpful. We are very happy with our little boy "Boo" and he is perfect! No issues here. Please take my advice and don't buy a dog based just on his looks. Spend time with him (along with your family) and make sure that everyone likes him. You can figure out a lot in an hour by playing with them to see how aggressive, calm, smart, timid, barky or playful they are! Know what you like and look for those qualities. That's my unsolicited advice!

so my sister and her husband got a puppy here... they told them that the puppy was healthy. My sister took him home and all he did was sleep and then the next day he kept vomiting and falling over. The dog got rushed to the vet and what does he have? a liver condition. It is now day four of them having the puppy and they have been taking him to the vet everyday. the vet bills are three times more then the dog its self. Please everyone don't buy a dog in here don't even give them your business. My family work with dogs are we could see that the dogs are very ill there. oh yeah and my sisters dog is dehydrated hes been dehydrated since he was at the crap hole. DON'T GO IN THERE ! PLEASE DON'T BUY ANY THING FROM THAT PLACE !

My fiance and I picked up a Boston Terrier pup at Shake A Paw on 10/25/08. We knew we had a pedigree pup because we know who are our puppy's mom and dad and grandparents and all because of the official documentation we were given. Also the medical records were clear and the pup was checked up on on a regular basis by the vet. We got a great deal on it because it was already 5 months old (most pups there are about 3 months old on avg).

We found in this puppy a loving companion that is happy by nature and we had him housebroken in a week. We had a good impression of the store itself. It was clean and neat with a large selection of all sorts of puppies that looked well taken care of. They also sell lots of puppy supplies like food and toys and crates. We were helped in a professional manner and walked out with a good feeling. The store policy on bought puppies if they happen to run into major physical issues is absolutely fair and just another reason why we trusted this place and are happy we chose to buy from Shake a Paw.

This store was very helpful and understanding and gave me a great deal on a dachshund puppy.My older dachshund had died the day before and we needed to get a puppy to cheer up our other dog. They were helpful, understanding and gave me a great deal. I have had the dog for 5 days and, so far, she is healthy, happy and getting along great with our two and a half year old male.
