Established in 1898, Union City Body Company produces walk-in truck bodies for automotive manufacturers. The company s clients include Cord, Duesenberg, Pierce Arrow, Essex and Auburn. Its products can be seen in vehicles such as delivery trucks, television station vans and service vehicles, including vehicles used by UPS, Federal Express, Airborne Express, Frito-Lay and the United States government. Union City Body is also credited with manufacturing the first wraparound windshield. The company is partners with Autocar, FleetPath, Productive Concepts, UpTime Parts and Workhorse. The company is headquartered in Union City, Ind. Its manufacturing facilities are capable of producing more than 60 walk-in vans daily.
