Everybody at Valley Vet has always been very friendly, helpful, compassionate and professional. They have taken very good care of my dogs needs and even make suggestions on how to improve my own care for my dogs. I come away always with a sense of their love for each animal they care for.

I saw Dr. Zeh with my new puppy three weeks ago and loved him. He was caring, gentle, and didn't talk down to me. Seemed like the kind of vet we could have formed a long term relationship with. The reception staff however is AWFUL. When making my follow up appointment for booster vaccine I told the woman on the phone the specific date three weeks would be (which was what the doctor recommended). On the phone she simply said the day and time. When I got there, she had made the appointment for four weeks. The receptionist at the desk would do nothing to try and remedy the situation even though I just drove almost an hour to get there. There was only one other person in the waiting room - it didn't seem all that busy to me that they couldn't have quickly given my dog the vaccine. Instead I left angry and now have to find a new office.

I do not frequently take the time to post ratings online, but I felt compelled to do so after my experience with Valley Veterinary Associates. I am pleased to see that others have had a reasonable time while visiting this practice, but I am personally outraged by the terrible experience. The staff was cold and impersonal, and their supposed "head" doctor— Dr. Davis— (I believe he is actually the owner) was crude, cold, and disrespectful. I too run a business, but I have learned through my years that focusing on profit alone is never a good idea— there truly is such a thing as customer service and respect. I feel that VVA's only goal is to take your money, and the experience that you have, and even the common courtesy and respect that is due all human beings is considered irrelevant. I felt incredibly awkward during the visit because the "boss" was there, and he treated both the customers and the staff horribly! If I can offer one piece of advice to any of you reading this, do yourself a favor and never visit this veterinary practice— or call ahead to ensure that the owner is not there!
