MABBCO Motors should be put out of business. Simply a Horrible company, that sells inferior, Chinese products. You know their engines are cheap, when they only give a 30 day warranty. Avoid these clowns like the plague. You'll be glad that you did...

Anyone wanting a motor rebuilt should question a business that only warrants an engine for 30 days. Has never wanted to see the engine that they rebuilt, and then the main bearing went out.

Sad to see my dad's 81 Ford sitting because MABBCO used crap to rebuild the motor. Learn from this people. And boy do they have an attitude.

How they got this high of a rating I do not know. Any business that only has a 30 day warranty should be questioned, and any one considering doing business with these people be warned. They rebuilt an inline 6, and after 800 miles, the main bearing has gone out. They will not look at or are even concerned why. "30 day warranty" so we don't want to talk to you. Have hung up each time contacted. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. They have attitudes and do not care.

Only clicked one star because I should have reviewed their limited warranty. The reason for the limited and short warranty is because they do terrible work. Poor quality, poor craftsmanship, below poor customer relations, treat customers as a nuisance and generally take the money and run. A engine from my dad's truck was rebuilt by these people, and within 3 months the main bearing went out, but they only have a 30 day warranty. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE OR THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ARE WANTING TO BE TAKEN FOR A "RIDE"!!!!!!!

Bought a new motor from them for my firebird. Less than 30,000 miles later, I have had to have the rear main seal and the front seal replaced due to major oil leaks. They should either be using quality parts or paying attention to what they are doing. I am now beginning to doubt the integrity of the motor all together. I thought replacing the motor would be cheaper than buying a new car, looks like now I'll be doing both.

Excellent quality motors with a good price!

Uses cheapest Chinese parts available (Enginetech - do your research). When failures occur in long/short-blocks, they will not honor warranty, even though it is obviously their unprofessional assembly/and or parts are the cause of the problem. very nasty to deal with on that aspect.

Use this business for machine-work; they excel at that (hence the one star)- find somewhere else to buy quality bearings etc and have someone else do the build-up.
