Almost killed my cat, negligence, period. If I could give no stars I would. This is a busy practice with a vet who used to be well respected. I took my cats there for years. Now, it seems he has too many patients and too big an EGO to take ona partner. I took my cat in with a URI. They asked to do bloodwork because he had lost weight. He turned out to have diabetes. I only ever was permitted to talk to a vet tech and am not sure the vet even saw my cat. But they refused him the antibiotics he needed and treated his diabetes with a pill that is not used in and does not work in cats. I made an appt for a $900 glucose curve for 5 days later. In the mean time I was told to find another vet. I did; he treated the URI with antibiotics and put my cat on insulin both of which should have been done FIRST. A glucose curve at that office was $400, but had option to do it at home myself, which I did. Cat is doing fine, no thanks to the grand Dr Szanto.
