I am a student at hkb wing chun in Orange County and I have been attending for a little over a month! I have really enjoyed my training under sifu lin, his determination to help each student strive to be the best, very open to answering any question about hkb wing chun or himself. He offers classes 6 days a week, so for ppl with busy schedules it gives you Time to find what works best for you! I personally set it a goal to go 6 times a week! The atmosphere is very welcoming an positive, even if there are classes u missed he offers many ways for you to make them up or go an practices on your own with the online university site he has for his students! I feel sifu lin is very skilled in the hkb wing chun he is well rounded and knowledgeable. Under sifu Lin's training I have really started to grasp/ understand sticky hands one of the many things u will be practicing here at hkb wing chun and I feel very good I can look back an see how much of an improvement I have started to make! This is very different from other traditional or martial arts schools because this style emphasizes on the reality of self-defense rather than how to defend yourself in a controlled idealistic situation. Every drill and every exercise that is taught by the school translates to real combat applications such as sparring, sticky hands free flow, and self defense reactions. On the first day I was blown away by Sifu Lin's demonstration of impluse power how he doesn't need muscle or body weight to release the energy from his hand to the opponent causing much discomfort and pain. Amazing school with great program. Unlike other Martial Arts School that only focus on growing the student number, In this school Sifu Kenneth Lin, the main chief instructor in that HKB TWing Chun Orange County, really focus on developing the student skill, so the teaching approach is very detail, personal and customized!

I can understand the reason why Sifu Lin goes out of the way working with his students, because this is his main headquarter location that he personally teach students directly, where the rest of his branches worldwide look up this location as the school model/standard.



Last but not the least, I love this art known as HKB Wing Chun Kung Fu, practical, realistic and efficient combat system. You should check it out and experience yourself. They also have special offer 6 weeks Unlimited training for only 40 bucks when I first got started. I hope they still run it now, you should call and ask.



My first experience of first lesson, it was all free. If I like it sign up, if not I was free to leave. There was no pressure during my complimentary private intro class. I signed up for the trial class and now I'm a full time student since last year. Since my first day there I have not stopped learning and training. It's just so much fun to do and master.



I've only been training for about almost 11 months now and I have learned so much. The best part is the instructor, Sifu Lin, is very approachable. He has great ways for explaining the movements to help you understand and takes great pride in training his students and you can see the results in your training.



I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to do martial arts. If you have doubts you can do a full 6 weeks of training for just $40 bucks. I say just give it a try if you are interested. Nothing to lose for sure.
