      poor leadership academics come second to band and football! Bad teaching gets excuses from leadership! Do not send your child here!

      Hillcrest High School enrolls more than 1,200 students in grades nine through 12. Its academic curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, social studies and physical education. It additionally offers regular advanced diplomas, occupational diplomas and certificate course programs. Its elective courses include French, Latin and Spanish and music, art and theater. It also offers vocational elective courses in computer networking, multimedia, automotive technology and cosmetology. The school provides counseling services in academic career and development of the students. Its extracurricular activities include graphic designing, photography, paintings and drama productions. The school has a media center that provides more than 10,000 books, periodicals, newspapers, research books and journals. Hillcrest High School is located in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
