I had to ask the server to return my steak twice because it was undercooked (raw). She returned with the same steak three times. After the third time, the steak was dry and tough. Owner / Manager became defensive and confrontational when I told him about the poor quality. Wrote owner a letter asking him to call to discuss and he never called me back. I will never return to The Spudder!

The only thing that was slightly annoying was an older gentleman who was seating us at the time. Instead of politely asking me to move seats, he was very rude. This did taint my view of the good eating establishment.

The Spudder has a relaxed atmosphere and excellent service. You don't have to stare at your dirty dishes, they are taken away immediatley. They make you feel like you are the only one there. They are tucked away so we have never had to wait for a table. If you like potato soup then you will always crave theirs when you want some. There prices are a little high, but well worth it.
