The Shadow Mountain Behavioral Health System is a psychiatric hospital that offers a comprehensive continuum of behavioral health care services. It provides therapeutic foster care, residential and outpatient programs for children, adolescents and their families. The hospital occupies an area of more than 10 acres and is located in Tulsa, Okla. Its facilities include a gymnasium, children's playground, football field, vegetable garden and dining room. The Shadow Mountain Behavioral Health System has over 300 employees, including psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed professional counselors, clinical social workers, registered nurses and special education teachers. It is certified by The Joint Commission and is licensed by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
