      My husband and I dined at the French Hen for our anniversary. The atmosphere is perfect yet the location is hidden which makes it special. The service was perfect. Our server suggested our bottle of wine to us, which ended up being the best red wine. The name of it was Earthquake. The server provided us with a variety of specials for the evening along with a menu. We decided for an appetizer to have friend oysters which is a must from now on. For dinner my husband had the grilled duck breast and I had the tenderloin simple. Both our meals were cooked perfect and the flavor was great. Our whole experience at The French Hen exceeded our expectation by far.

      The food is excellent at French Hen and the service can't be complained about either. They offer a variety of breads on a big platter. I just wish they served some warm bread. I like their cosmopolitan drink.
