In operation for more than 35 years, George F. Boevers Elementary School is a Title I school that offers classes in reading and math. The school is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. It has a library that provides access to a range of books, periodicals and study materials. George F. Boevers Elementary School also operates a parent-teacher association and student council. The school offers environmental learning classes. It provides an accelerated reader program that is used to monitor and guide reading practices and helps students in improving their reading skills. The school offers special services, as well as organizes concerts. George F. Boevers Elementary School is a part of Union Public Schools.
