I would think twice before using Thrifty at Tucson airport. For one, the local number is not in service, so be warned. If you have to drop off a car earlier.... Let me help you out. There's an early morning key drop off between 0430 and 0700. Note. If you drop off the key, there is NO..... I repeat NO shuttle service. I was told by the customer rep, that it's only a five minute walk. WOW.... Also, I got a customer service rep who couldn't speak clear English and I had to repeat myself for her to understand my concerns. I asked for her to update the reservation, so that I can drop off the car the night before (taxi in morning) .... Still waiting on their website for that update. Just be warned...because these days they will charge for for anything....

I have used Thrifty, free-standing off airport site several times. Staff is very professional, excellent attitude and customer service, no problems. Arriving at airport, proceed to car rental area, use Thrifty call-line, within minutes a pickup van will take you to offsite Thrifty. Returning vehicle is also simple.
