      General Info
      Edgardo Laguillo, M.D., obtained his medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences campus in 1979. He completed his specialty in family practice in 1982 at the same institution and has been in clinical practice since then. In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Laguillo has also been involved in academic medicine for years, teaching medical students, residents and nurse practitioner students. He obtained a fellowship in faculty development from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. "I believe the physician and patient must work together, set goals together and base the relationship on mutual respect and understanding."
