This is the best tire shop in town. They've repaired my tires four times over the course of four years for free. I didn't even buy my tires there. Finally, I had discount tires replace all of my tires because I felt such loyalty. This is truly a world-class tire shop.

5 Stars and two thumbs up for Matt & Cesar!!

5 Stars and two thumbs up for Matt & Cesar!!

October 2010, noon, just another day in paradise, Tucson Arid-zona.

Its was a hot day and My wife and I just had new tires put on our vehicle as we went shopping.

We returned from shopping, paid for our tires and jumped into the vehicle, inserted the ignition key and to our shock the whole lock assembly fell out in pieces.

Clearly the tire technician did not know how to unlatch the key so he could remove it from the lock.

So he forced out the key pulling out the complete assembly.

We informed Matt, the manager of Discount Tire; he was very apologetic and said he would take care of the situation.

The manager called EXPRESS LOCKOUTS and informed us that someone was coming to fix our ignition key assembly.

30 minutes later Cesar shows up and begins to work on our problem. He completely builds a new assembly, and replaces the old broken pieces.

Fantastic!

Cesar told us that as a boy his father said that whatever he does in his life he must do it as a professional.

Cesar is not only a great professional ignition lock repair guy but he is also a wonderful person. He treated us in a professional and friendly manner and got the job done.

We were also, very grateful that Matt, the manager of Discount Tire took care of this situation in a very professional and courteous manner.

We were on our way in an hour thanks to both of these professionals and we can never be more thankful and appreciative to Matt & Cesar for helping us.

Thanks Matt!! Thanks Cesar!! Two thumbs up!

Amazing Service!!!!

This is in response to the moron that was charged for a tire fix and my experience at Discount Tire.
I never write reviews and even registered with this site to comment on this moron! I got a flat yesterday and looked into a tire company. When I saw that Discount Tire only had 1 star, I was skeptical. I brought it in anyway since it is close to my work. So here is my experience.....When I arrived i was greeted immediately and was even given a bottle of water since it was 108 degrees out! The place is immaculate, and the customer service is top notch. The associate told me it would be 45 min to fix my tire. They were so busy and I can see why. The techs in the shop had their music going and it looked like they were all having a great time. My car was done in 30min and couldn't have been happier. This company has a customer for life!!! Thank you!

I have only lived in Tucson for a year and have to say it is the land of ""I want everything for FREE!!!"". These people are providing you a service and that costs money and time. Do everyone a favor and buy yourself some fix-a-flat and don't ever leave your house :)

Avoid Free Flat Tire Repair Service!

I went to Discount Tire to have a flat tire repaired. I was lured by the offer for free flat repairs. Mine was caused by a sharp rock, which I pulled out of the tire with pliers. The tire was in otherwise good condition. I showed the store manager where the rock was in the tread. He probed the region with a large ice pick type tool to determine if too much damage was caused to the tread. I was concerned that he was causing more damage to the tire because I could hear the steel belt wires breaking as he torqued the tool around. He assured me that this was standard procedure to make sure the tire plug will work. Having had several tires repaired by others in the past I became suspicious of his behavior. However, I let him take the tire into the garage. When I returned later to pick up the tire, the manager said the technician would not repair the tire. A salesman was directed to show me the tire. He pointed out that the bead on inside rim of the tire was damaged and therefore they would not mount the tire back on the rim for safety reasons. The salesman said that the last time the tire was repaired the tire rim was damaged. This was the FIRST time the tire was taken off the rim. He assured me that their tire mounting machine does not damage tires. Rather than pay $173 for a new tire, I left for a second opinion. I received opinions from a manager of independent tire store and a tire manufacture rep that the damage was caused when the tire was removed from the rim. It is common when not enough lubricant is used during the procedure. They pointed out the scuff marks leading to the torn bead and the newly exposed rubber. Fortunately, the independent tire store plugged the hole and remounted the tire with bead sealer for FREE! The above and more subtle observations led me to believe that Discount Tire on Ina is corrupt up to the manager's level and they are trying to make extra money off of customers who fall for the free flat repair. Don't be duped!
