Overall, not a good place and not a satisfactory experience,? this place and people. Smh.

I went to J n c African hair braiding shop to get my hair done in tree braids and after I left the shop my hair looked such a mess and it does not look like I have Tree braids at all.. I am very upset and mad and my hair isn't looking nice either.. they said that they was going to do a great job but when I got done it look like a rush job.. I paid 160 for tree braids that don't even look like the picture I show them.. and I kept asking them do u do tree braids.. only thing they had to tell me was no.. and charge me for a mess up hairstyle.. I recommend that nobody don't go there to get there hair done.. they don't know what they are doing at all.. instead of talking they should be concentrating on the clients hair... Such a mess and very disappointed..

They only care about the money my hair is a mess will never go back to this place they eat and talk and keep the shop very unclean

Horrible place dirty and very unprofessional people ....I got my hair done from these people and it looks horrible paid $150 Braids are. Falling out after 1st week of having them in wish I could upload a picture of had bad they look stay a way not wroth the money

This place is truly nasty! I seen 2 roaches and i told the lady all she did was step on them and went right back to talking. I waited for over an hour and half for her to start my hair. When she finally did, she kept stopping and doing other clients hair. The thing that top it all off was they dont listen to what u want.

This was my second time going to J&C first time around I was very happy.But not this time its only been two weeks going on three on braids in the back all three rows fall out my side same thing I paid at $ 160 for my braids to fall out.called the shop they were to book to fix my braids that's just unprofessional

The place is garbage got my hair done on a Saturday at 7:00 in the morning and on that Tuesday my braids were loose and falling out I had to go back for a touch up and had to pay 60.00. The braids pulled out my edges. I never go back they don't listen to customers.

Terrible. Do not go there. They do not listen to customers and when you try to tell them they are not doing what you asked they yell. I am very unhappy with the service and would never go back.

J n c braiding shop is very unprofessional. They gave me an appointment one day at 2 o clock I arrived on time and when I did they were closed. I waited for about 20 minutes. I called several times and still no answer. I am never going there again.

I was a walk in. Came in for cornrows and I am VERY pleased with the results. The lady was fast, friendly and the price was right. Yes it was a bit loud in there but what black hair salon isn't? I am definitely going back there again.

When it comes to J and C, I have two opinions. #1 The shop is atrocious. It has hair everywhere on the floor and the hairsylists argue right in front of you. # 2 When i went there i got the micro braids. When they talk to you they have a bit of an attitude and also they eat and then they dont wash their hands when they"re done. But in the end the hairstyle looks beautiful!!! The only problem i have is with the staff and the shop. To make it better ithink it should be more clean, and have more of a style in there. I hope you take this into consideration if u plan on going to J and C

This place is really a hole in the wall not very well kept. I had my hair braided in micro braids. It took about seven hours and cost 160.00 (this includes the hair). The braids were nice and I received many compliments but in less than a week I lost five braids because the braider braided my 'baby hair" you know the delicate/fine hair around the hairline. This also causes my hair to come completely out of the root as well. If you do go here make sure you tell the braiders not to braid the hair around your hair line. Other than that it was not to bad
