the older woman knows her stuff,Its too bad that they don't teach the new hairdressers the most basic haircuts,even the classic cuts .they are not aware of my husband and I have been 3 times ,and will continue I believe her name is peggy,and Ashley cuts my hair,we had been to every other salon in town until we found this one,the others didn't care to listen ,and did what they wanted to do.,Kudos to a hairstylist who does what you asks, its the only good haicut in town for men and woman

Illustra Hair Salon is simply the best of the best not only in Torrington but possibly matched only by the top Salons in New York City and Hollywood California. I have been going to "Randy" for 20 Years since its opening where he always, always performs Magic in multi-color; styling, hair health and care there of. Illustra is an exquisitly classy Salon with a hollywood flare which will brighten anyone's day of any age. I just love love love Illustra !! Thank- You so much Randy for always making me as uniquely beautiful beyond that which could ever be imagine every visit for 20 years!!! I know I have presented with many many challenges and new trial requests which Randy accomplishes meticulously and miraculously.....xo Suzi

$21 dollars, 14.5 minutes, the worst cut I ever received. He had cut my hair when it was long 12 years ago and did a decent job, now I tell you if you have short curly hair. You are better off going to a barber!!! For real. He has lost all my future business. I wish I had wrote him a check, I would have rather spent the money on a stop payment!
