When I was pregnant with my third and last child, I seen Denice Nikel, she is the best. I had some concerns about using a midwife, but she was very reassuring and took the time to make sure I was comfortable. When I was 28 weeks along my sack ruptured, I called the office the nurse gave me instructions, after I had waited the hour I was told to wait, she called me back to see how things were. Things had not changed so she told me to get to the hospital. Once there the doctors were very professional. I ended up having an emergency c-section at 29 weeks. I spent 8 days in the hospital before they felt the need to deliver. The whole time all the Dr's that attended me kept Denice in teh loop of what was going on. Polly Train was the doctor that did the surgery, I had asked several times prior if Denice was going to be present (she could not deliver me as at that point I was to high risk), when it came time for delivery Denice was there by my side. It made the whole situation more comforting to have her there. After the surgery both Denice and Polly came in to do rounds and they also made a point to ask how my son was doing down in the NICU. I would recommend this office to anyone. I am so glad that a co workers daughter recommended this office.

The Staff here, AND at their other location are the MOST caring individuals you will ever have! Don't go any where else in town! Denise Nickel is the BEST midwife in this town hands down. She bends over backwords to make sure her patients are well informed, cared for, and treated! I had major concerns about my heart condition and she went the extra mile to make sure that my baby and I were safe, relieving me of any and all anxiety that i had about delivering baby. Dr Train Is one of the best obgyn Doctors in this town as well! She also went the extra mile to make sure baby and I were safe and have a smooth delivery. Their nurses? omg the best! all very caring and even their staff that answers the phone and assists you when you get there to their office. I could not of asked for better care! words CAN NOT express my Thanks to them both and their staff for helping me deliver my latest and final addition to our family! if you need an obgyn you can't go wrong with this group!

I was so happy to be able to receive great care from Topeka OBGYN. My dr. Denise Nickle's was so awesome, she was friendly, professional and treated me and my family with great care. She made sure I understood everything and made sure she answered all my questions and concerns. I have referred one my of friends to switch to Denise in which she did and she feels the same way about her. I have also referred any friends or family that found out they were pregnant or trying to get pregnant to go to Denise. I couldn't ask for anyone better. I will make sure that I go back there for all my pregnancies in the future. Great work to their whole office also. I always received a call back when something went wrong or their were concerns and needed advice or told what I should do.
