The Mental Health Consortium is a nonprofit, behavioral health care provider-sponsored organization that provides a variety of administrative services for organization products and functions for public and commercial purchasers. It operates an information technology department that develops industry specific networks, software and databases for managing a variety of mental health and substance abuse technology services. The Mental Health Consortium also maintains a department of human resources that designs, plans, directs and implements policies that include the supervision of recruiting, interviewing and selection of employees to fill vacant positions. The organization has more than 25 mental health centers, as well as conducts a drug and alcohol testing program. The Mental Health Consortium is located in Topeka, Kan.
