Katie Tayon, APRN, MSN, FNP-C, is a compassionate and dedicated nurse practitioner with a master's degree in family medicine from Roseman University. With over 17 years of experience in the medical field, Katie is deeply committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. A Tooele native, Katie began her healthcare journey in Tooele County, in family medicine. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong dedication to continuous education, acquiring knowledge in critical care, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, women's health, and family medicine. Her experience in critical care units has underscored the significance of primary care, emphasizing prevention, early detection, and ongoing health condition management. Katie focuses on patient-centered care, prioritizing open communication and building robust relationships with patients and their families. She believes in empowering individuals to actively participate in their healthcare decisions and ensuring a thorough understanding of their healthcare goals. Excited about the opportunity to make a positive impact in her community and the lives of her patients, Katie is driven by a passion for delivering comprehensive and personalized healthcare.
