Enjoy family &friend gatherings.Food is great. Especially fried catfish & okra. They also sing happy b-day & give you peach cobbler on the house. Such a friendly place.

Pot roast was very good, squash was cold and tasted like it had a cup of sugar added( yuck) cole slaw tasted like dirt. Tea was so weak I thought it was water. We let the owner know and he brought us out green beans in place of the cole slaw and there was a DEAD FLY in the green beans. The did not charge us for our meals but it was a really bad experience. Will never be back.

The Best Chicken Fried Steak in Texas! Friendly service, consistent food, and down-home Southern hospitality make this restaurant a Texas legend. One of my all-time favorite places to get a good meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Go early on Sundays, as the place is packed come noon.

The Eyes of Texas voted theirs the best chicken fried steak in Texas - the Food network agreed and so do we! Everything is tastier and fresher than the Pea ever dreamed. And you get gravy for dipping the rolls in too. They care about quality more than quantity and speed and in this day and age that is a rarity. If you live outside the Tomball/Magnolia area it's more than worth the drive I assure you!

We had heard the chicken fried steak was good. It's crunchy and large. Veges and bread were good as well.
