I have been going to Shai since they opened. When I read the review that they felt the owner was "trying to pull something" , they should give it another try. I'm sure it was just an accident. The food is very good, I love their salads and think the gyro sauce is the best in town. I'm not sure who the owner is but I have always been happy with the service.

my wife wanted grape leafs, they were good, I ordered a hamburger that was advertised as a 1/2 lb. when they served it, it was like 1/4 lb. they took $2 off and gave me a lame excuse. but I think they are short changing their customers. He admitted it looked a little small, but why did he serve it to me then? We also ordered baklava to go and when we got it home, it wasn't the usual baklava, so I don't know what they are pulling. be careful what you order there.

they have the best food, for a reasonable price!!!!!
