Beware of Houck Management Properties. They have changed management three times in the past three years, and the new property manager, Darla Hall, is horrendous. Not only is she condescending in tone and body language when interacting with residents, I know that someone in management has entered my apartment several times without proper legal notice or consent. The rent also continues to be raised due to "rising property costs" however, there are no improvements or updates being done to the property or any specific units. Unless you want to live in an outdated and overpriced apartment complex, where your privacy is not respected or observed, and be talked down to and treated in an inferior manner, do not rent from Houck Management Properties.

The management at these rental properties scammed my fiance and I into paying a $50 application fee without any intent of giving us the apartment. They agreed to tell us if my fiance's credit score was not high enough (due to student loans) so I could add in my salary or use my credit score for the application. They repeatedly told us that his new salary would make up for the low credit score. Instead, they denied us the rental of the apartment and would not discuss it further with me on the phone. Our combined salary is well over $100,000 a year and the apartment was only $556 a month. Do not trust the management.

This is seriously the worst place to move! When I moved in they were ok. Well now all the stuff management wise getting changed and they keep raising the already ungodly amount for rent so people keep moving out. so there letting anyone move in They moved a wh*** in on the third floor. I hear my neighbor above me wall twerking in a daily basis. They tried to replace my building laundry appliances none of them have worked sense they take your money and screw everything up. It is seriously the worst. My bedroom ceiling started filling with water and they painted over the growing mold. My shower is a piece of s*** and they have wall paper in the bathroom it's all moody behind it GROSS! They do the stupidest things. Maintenance does everything the hard way! They waste money! The heated pool yeah the heater broke two summers ago and they said they are never fixing it but we're still paying for it to be there. Worst place ever. The windows in my apartment have mold around the frames and I wash it off constantly but the windows are bad and they will not replace them. I would move but I don't have the money or Id be gone in a instant. This is the worst place to ever move I don't suggest it unless you plan on moving out real quick and not being happy while your stuck here.
