WARNING!!! Very bad customer service. The owner is very rude and will not work with you. What a terrible experience. I have never been treated in such a manner by anyone!
Rude people. I tried to take something back, and this lady named Cheryl was so uppity and she was on the phone talking about how "Her brother was not welcome in her home. By the time I got to talk about my order, she just had a sneering look on her face. They should fire her.
I have bought many items from Robys.. Always satisfied.. I bought a washer and dryer a few years back, and it wasn't working to satisfaction and Robys took it back and gave me credit towards different ones.. If there is a problem they always take care of it..
We have purchased several appliances from Roby's. The last was a refrigerator that had a small dent for which we received a discount. When it was delivered we not only got a refrigerator with an even bigger dent on the front panel but the delivery men were by far the most unprofessional people we have ever met. They drug their dolly up on staircase which produced three black marks on each step. When I brought this to their attention their lack of remorse was unbelievable. They ruined our carpet upstairs as well. This appliance was marked with a tag for an energy saving rebate which we found out later was not applicable. We lost an additional 80.00 that we were told we would receive. When I called multiple times to find out why I could not get the rebate to go through they never returned my calls. They did, however, replace my door on the appliance that was dented by their delivery men. Not sure we will ever buy from them again.They seem to lack concern with unhappy customers.
Roby's may be the only furniture store in town but you will do far better to travel a little. My experience, and that of several of my neighbors, is that instead of Roby's delivering new furniture they delivered obviously flawed floor samples in some instances and different models of furniture in other instances. Not only that, they then became belligerent about it and tried to blame the customers. Apparently the concepts of business goodwill and developing customer relationships are not part of their vocabulary. Do yourselves a favor and travel a little bit farther in order to find a reputable furniture store. In the long run it will be worth the initial inconvenience and you will save yourself a lot of grief.
