This is a lovingly restored vintage movie house. Built in the 1890s as a livery stable and converted to a cinema in 1911, the Vickers Theatre screens a series of great films every Summer. The focus is on critically acclaimed art films that may have made only brief stops at the local cineplexes or may have bypassed them altogether. They also have a silent film festival there. This cozy little theatre includes an art gallery showcasing the work of local artists. It is located in Southwest Michigan's Harbor Country, about 90 minutes from Chicago. Yes, their popcorn is good!
