General Info

Doug started in the grocery business in 1975 in Clintonville Wisconsin, working for Carl's Red Owl where he met Cheryl. They later worked for a Pick n Save and bought their first store in Mosinee in 1998. The Thorp IGA was for sale in 2003, and was purchased by Doug and Cheryl in August of 2004. In 2011, a dcor upgrade and liquor department was added. In June of 2015 another remodel project was finished to upgrade the bakery and deli, dairy and meat cases, and new dcor. Locally owned and operated by Doug and Cheryl Niemuth, we're proud to bring fresher, faster, friendlier service to Thorp and the surrounding communities
