Provided by YP.comMy husband and I were up late on this particular evening, and we decided to go through the drive-thru at burger king The Dalles. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, and went to eat it at home. The chicken itself was luke warm when I felt it in the drive thru. I got home and ate it, hoping everything was alright. The next morning I found myself deathly ill, and was in the same state five days later. I looked online, and found that I had all the signs of salmonella poisoning. Later on, I was discussing it with my husband, and he had been sick from the same institution the last time he visited. Burger King is known in the fast food community for pre-making their food and letting it sit in the window for literally hours. The food is gross, and needless to say I will never visit this establishment again. I don't care if they tried to lure me in with free gifts or food, almost dying from a foodbourne illness is definately not worth it. I'd be interested to hear how many other people have gotten sick from their pre-made food. It's sad when an establishment doesn't even try to keep their customers from getting deathly ill.
