      College of the Mainland, located in Texas City, Texas, serves more than 4,000 students in credit courses, and also serves over 4000 students in noncredit courses. It offers a wide range of courses, such as medical and geographic information systems. The college also offers special services for African-American and Hispanic and Latino students. College of the Mainland s various academic programs include adult basic education, general education development and alternative teacher certification programs. The college also offers several children's educational programs, such as Summer Adventures In Learning and Child Development Lab School. It also offers wellness, physical fitness and recreational opportunities, League City center children's courses and SciTek for Kids programs.
