Welcome to the Hornsby-Murcherson Funeral Home Website. We are a Family owned establishment that has been serving Temple & Bell County Communities for over 70 years. In 1939 the late B. K. Hornsby a funeral director and embalmer assisted by her mother the late Annie Carter with her son and daughter-in-law the late O.R. and Dorothy Murcherson established Hornsby Funeral Home. In 1975 it became Hornsby-Murcherson Funeral Home. Hornsby-Murcherson Funeral Home is still located on the corner of Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive where the business was first established. Hornsby-Murcherson Mission is to provide families who are experiencing the loss of a loved one sympathetic, compassionate and professional service in the same manner we would want for ourselves.
